A Kato N scale Southern Pacific SD45 sporting the Lark Gray and Scarlet livery, custom weathered by Sonora Engine Shop. Faded by the weather and donning a modest dose of dirt, dust, grime and rust this unit had a tendency to miss the wash rack! Upon close inspection you'll note the lettering on the long hood and cab has partially faded revealing the red primer undercoat. Apparently a hot day on the road, the crew opened the forward facing cab door for some old-fashioned air conditioning. A few extra details complete this model including cab sunshades, a brass bell casting, Kato snowplows forward and aft, a custom road number, 8938, micro-trains couplers and number boards.
